Voluntary work means working without being paid, in this
world of higher education and trying to earn as much, money as possible just to
survive, is it any wonder young people don’t want to volunteer ?
I have done over 3300 hours of voluntary work in the last 3
years, i can honestly say it has changed my life, it has given me experiences

I participated in a two week work experience at the head office of Solace Womans Aid. I found it enjoyable and also rewarding as, I have gained knowledge and skills from my exeprience working there.
On my first day working there I visited one of the refuges in Lambeth. I never been or visited a refuge before, therefore it was a new experience for me and I also found out alot of things from visiting there.

We have decied that we are going to go round schools in our area and spend a hour a week for four weeks with young people from the schools and try raise awarness of how young people struggle in schools and how it could be avoided
we will be doing work shops each week on subjects like bullying, sexuality, rasism,drugs &crime
just to make young people aware of all the dangers of doing theese and trying to help cut down on this so more people could be help to stay in main…
